Pediatric Dentistry

For children, first impressions are crucial and determine their subsequent attitudes towards dentistry, oral care, and doctors in general.

At the Modern Dental clinic network, we pay particular attention to pediatric dentistry, specifically focusing on adapting to the environment, the doctor, and the instruments used during procedures.

The clinic has an isolated room specially adapted for children to ensure they feel safe and comfortable.

To motivate the little ones, we use rewards in the form of balloons and stickers. Additionally, during any procedure, children can watch their favorite animations.

All types of dental services are available for children, including therapy, surgery, pediatric orthopedics, and orthodontics.

Professional Cleaning

Professional dental cleaning by a dentist in children is a preventive measure to protect teeth from carious damage. Since children often consume sweets and may not achieve thorough brushing at home, the procedure is important and should be done every 6 months.

Using air-abrasion techniques, colorful brushes, and abrasive paste, the dentist performs a thorough cleaning of the oral cavity. The procedure is safe, enjoyable, and educational for children.

Parents are provided with information on how to maintain oral hygiene at home correctly and how to make tooth brushing enjoyable for children.

Sealant Application

Caries damage is often caused by grooves (fissures) on the chewing surfaces of teeth, which are difficult to clean thoroughly.

In modern dentistry, fissure sealing with a special sealant is available. This procedure protects the tooth from carious damage for years.

It is important to note that this procedure is performed on newly erupted teeth in children (first molar at 6-7 years, second molar at 12 years) in conjunction with professional cleaning to ensure the sealant is applied to a clean tooth surface.

Caries Treatment

Treating caries in children is as important for primary as it is for permanent teeth. Primary teeth have the same anatomy as permanent teeth, including roots and nerves. Neglecting treatment of primary teeth can lead to complications similar to those with permanent teeth, such as pain, swelling, general weakness, and fever.

Pediatric Surgery

Tooth extraction in children may be necessary for various reasons. Most commonly, when the tooth cannot be treated therapeutically, due to periodontal disease, trauma, or orthodontic needs.

Tooth extraction in children is always associated with pain and discomfort. Our clinic offers modern methods and a child-friendly environment, allowing tooth extraction to be performed in a calm and comfortable setting.

Pediatric Orthopedics

Crowns are often the best treatment plan for damaged or decayed primary teeth.

An alternative to using crowns might be extraction, which can lead to complications. If a primary tooth is extracted prematurely, it may cause misalignment or shifting, crowding, and loss of space for permanent teeth, necessitating orthodontic intervention.

Crowns on primary teeth allow them to maintain their place until permanent teeth fully mature and take over the chewing function.

Painless Anesthesia

In our clinic, we offer painless anesthesia using modern techniques and technology.

Both adults and children, especially children, often have a fear of needles. It is crucial that a child’s first visit is not associated with pain. The specialized device minimizes pain perception, avoiding the typical needle association. Pressure control and accompanying music help divert attention. With this device, children often do not even realize that an injection has been administered.
